Coaching

Whether you are a business person working 50-60 hours a week,  someone who’s exhausted from the daily struggle of life, or someone who knows there is a gap between the things you KNOW to do and how you are actually living and working, you have a choice about how to live your life.

You can step back, reevaluate your priorities, make conscious decisions about closing that gap, and determine your personal plan of action. The fastest, easiest way to accomplish those things and more, is to find a personal business coach who will become your partner, encourager and supporter in this challenge.

“If you want one year of prosperity, grow grain.
If you want ten years of prosperity, grow trees.
If you want 100 years of prosperity, grow people.
~ Ancient Chinese Proverb

  • Is it time you stopped grasping for success and started attracting it?
  • Do you find yourself questioning  your accomplishments and endurance- even though you are working hard every day?
  • Have you lost your personal passion for work and maybe even for life?
  • If you manage others, what kind of relationship do you have with your employees? What kind of relationship would you like to have with them?
  • Can you clearly define your focus ( in business or life) and  explain your “plan of action” that will lead to accomplishment of those goals?
  • Can you clearly communicate who you are and what you want from your life and work?
  • Is there a gap between where you are currently living and working and where you KNOW you should/could be?
  • Is there a gap between what you KNOW and what you actually DO?

A good coach is someone who joins you as a partner to help you reach levels of excellence as you bridge that gap!

…you have a true gift for getting to the “heart” of the matter…

I had never been “coached” before and didn’t know what to expect. I knew I needed some direction and guidance in some areas. After just a few weeks, my entire attitude began to change and it affected every area of my life. I became more productive and energized. For the first time in so long, I looked forward to going to work each day because I knew I had a new focus and approach to my life. Saralyn, you have a true gift for getting to the “heart” of the matter and giving me courage to admit and then address the issues. Boy – what a change! ~ Estelle Bakker

By encouraging you to stretch further than you would by yourself,  a good coach guides you to identify actual “roadblocks”  that keep you from experiencing desired levels of success. Then your coach will work side-by side with you to define and focus on a specific “plan of action” that neutralize those “roadblocks” and turns them into your “bridge”  to success.

Individuals come to coaching for multiple reasons.:Goal Setting graphic spelling out what each of the letters in SMART stands for

  • need to clearly define focus and delineate goals
  • motivation to achieve specific goals
  • create more order and balance in life
  • gain more from life – peace of mind, simplicity, joy, renewal of passion
  • a sense of accountability to another individual
  • need a cheerleader, encourager and supporter for life changes

Coaching brings different elements to a client based on need. Some elements of coaching might be:

•    Synergy – The client and coach becomes a team. Together we focus on your goals and needs. This makes it possible to accomplish more and at a faster rate than you might do alone.

•    Structure – The secret to success is not a secret – it is a “System”. This simply means that together you and your coach will establish a systematic approach to accomplishing your goals and plans. Using an individually-designed system, the client takes more action, thinks bigger, strays less, maintains motivation and excitement, and generally accomplishes more.

•    Accountability – Too often, what is missing in many adults today is this element of accountability. The more successful an individual has been, the less accountability we normally discover in their average environment. Coaching can restored an understanding of the value and  how it significantly affects personal production. As a client, you willingly give your coach the “right” to hold you accountable for the direction of actions taken and results of those not taken. This sense of accountability is one factor that often propels individuals quickly back into a more focused and productive mode.

•    Expertise – Coaches are often used to aid in both business and personal issues. In the business arena, we will look at potential areas of  growth with topics such as: marketing strategies, unique marketing niche, customer satisfaction issues, employee growth and development, development of management strength.

•    Expanded Communication Skills – The mastery of skills to communicate in a much more sophisticated and knowledgeable way is critical to bringing about the results we desire in our world, both personally and professionally. As we communicate in a faster paced and more crowded world, you can no longer rely on your ability to communicate with just a few people and not others. Whether in social, personal or professional situations, more effective communication is essential.

The ability to combine both business analysis and personal growth and development is rare. Extensive training and certification in both areas on Saralyn’s part  provides you with one coach that can have an impact on both personal and professional areas of your life.

An individual does not have to be failing to benefit from coaching. Many successful people turn to coaching to hone their professional and personal strategies and direction.  Life coaching is a dually created alliance designed to maximize a person’s life. The goal is to take a person to a greater level in his/her personal and professional life.
